What to Do with Your Christmas Tree

Now that Christmas has passed, it's time to get rid of your Christmas tree. You shouldn't just throw it away. Recycle it! Recycling your tree is almost easier than putting it in the trash. Websites like Earth911 have made it super easy to locate where to drop off your tree to recycle it. Click on the link above. It's easy: enter in your zip and find the closest tree recycling drop off near you.

Another SUPER EASY way to help save the earth and help inner-city kids go skiing for the first time is by participating in Nashville's Preston Taylor Ministry's Christmas Tree Pick-Up Fundraiser. They will pick up your tree at YOUR house and recycle it for YOU! The pick-up dates are January 2, 3 & 6th. They are asking for at least a $10 donation. If you're interested please email your name, phone number, home address and the date that you would like for them to pick up your tree (Jan. 2, 3 & 6th) to ktfrohock@gmail.com.

I hope that you decide to recycle your Christmas tree, and if you live in Nashville, you should definitely help support the kids at Preston Taylor by having them pick up your tree for you!

Happy clean-up!
