I'm back...from a wonderful and inspiring trip to New York...and from having the flu :(. Being sick couldn't come at a more convenient time for me with the holidays, moving to a new office and from being out of town the week before last. Enough about the bad--now on to the good.
New York!
My husband and I took a quick visit to New York last week to do some Christmas shopping, attend a show, go to some designer showrooms (me) and watch the University of Kentucky basketball team play the University of Connecticut at Madison Square Gardens (him...this is the real reason he took us to New York). Whatever the reason, I'll never pass up an opportunity to visit New York. I miss it and my friends who live there. Here are just some of my favorite Christmas sites while we were there.
While shopping on the Upper East Side...
Only in New York would you happen to find several Santas in a subway train. Apparently they were celebrating National Santa Day.
Anthropologie's storefront in SoHo. One word, enchanting!

What an adorable Gingerbread House.
Columbus Circle decorated with the most dazzling blue and white lights. You could see them all the way from Central Park!

Bundled up with close friends getting ready to ice skate in Central Park.
My husband and me at Madison Square Gardens (nothing to do with Christmas, but his reasoning for our trip!)
Merry Christmas!
