The premise of the story is about a woman, Julie Powell, who feels sort of lost and without a purpose in life (a feeling that I know a lot of my friends in their mid to late twenties know well). While all of Julie's friends are achieving success, she is stuck in a dead end job hoping for more from life. When one of her friends gets a movie deal from her blog, it inspires Julie to start her own blog--Mastering the Art of French Cooking in 365 Days...quite an arduous yet adventurous task! It is a story of cooking, France (I'm excited to see some clips of my favorite city, Paris), finding purpose, making friends and making mistakes. Best of all, it all takes place in a kitchen! And if I could pick my favorite French dream kitchen, this is what I would choose.
